💵 free networking checklist

I love getting real, inbound, non-AI written DMs where people ask me what I'm up to and if I can help them.

Most people on X gloat that inbound leads are just flowing into their inbox (which maybe they are for a few folks, but I'd venture to say that most of their DM inboxes are full of broccoli hair-cut Gen Z MFers trying to sell you something on the first message)

If you think about it, you really only need 5-10 ideal clients to fully go in on solopreneurship...so when you get an inbound message like this, you want to understand WHY it happened (if you can) and obviously respond thoughtfully.

And in this particular instance, this DM arrived in my inbox because I commented on one of his posts thoughtfully.

I didn't regurgitate or restate his message.

I put a spin on a concept he had out there.

I made him think.

This is something you can easily replicate for your solo business, whatever it may be.

Since you're on my email list, I like to share things I've created.

I put together simple 8 line checklist you can use to step up your networking game as a solopreneur so that you can generate income.

Let me know if it helps you out.

To your solopreneur success,

Matt Barron

If you're a 9-5er and looking to build a solo business, you must understand one key concept. One that can make or break your solo business. No way to get in touch with their supporters. Money goes to $0. Another example is the TikTok situation. Even though it ended up not being a big deal, it was a good reminder that you need...

Hi Reader, I've noticed that when my content adhere's to Kieran Drew's copywriting rules and to proven copywriting frameworks, I attract my ideal clients to my email list. I needed a solution to help me consistently write content adhering to these frameworks and improve my writing. So I built something this week and I want to share it with you here. Give it a try and let me know if it helps you out. To your solopreneur success, Matt Barron

Hi Reader, One of the biggest "arts" to sales is asking questions. The impact has been enormous (I've sold $51m in technology services in >6 years). It all comes down to one core concept...and over the past few months, I've started to apply it to my solo business. I'm thinking about putting together a simple document that describes what I'm talking about and how you can use it in your business. Would that be helpful? Simply reply with a 1 or 2: 1 = yes 2 = no To your solopreneur success, Matt...
